With three successful hiring events under our belts, the mid-way point in our conference season is upon us.  Next week, we’re hosting one of our favorite events — the LINK @ NAIS — in San Francisco.

This three-day event is a bit different from our other hiring events.  The LINK is located in a different city each year, as it is hosted in conjunction with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Annual Conference.  This year, NAIS is bringing us to San Francisco, and we are thrilled.

This event is free for all registered candidates to attend.  If you’re on the fence about coming to LINK @ NAIS/San Francisco, hop off — this a wonderful event that will allow you to interface with independent schools from all across the country (including, to date, over 50 just from the west coast).

Candidates, register here.  Schools, register here.

This year’s LINK will have three distinct components:

1. Kick-Off Welcome Reception

We’ll host a welcome reception open to all registered candidates and schools on the evening of Wednesday, February 24th.  This event will be a wonderful way to relax and network informally before the conference. Register to learn more.

2. Interview Opportunities

Like all of our hiring events, the LINK @ NAIS/San Francisco will have a hiring component.  Our two-day interviewing event will allow schools to schedule 30-minute interviews with registered candidates between 8am and 5pm on Thursday, February 25th and Friday, February 26th.

The LINK is unique in that many schools will be coming and going from our interview space as they move between interviews and NAIS Annual Conference sessions.  For that reason, it will be very important for candidates to accurately mark themselves available or unavailable on their conference schedules.

Please also note that the LINK is one event where many interviews happen on-site.  We anticipate on-site registrations from schools attending the NAIS event, so don’t panic if you have registered and your interview schedule looks thin.  While we can’t guarantee interviews, experience has proved that there will be plenty of opportunity on-site.

3. Sweatworking: Run to Connect

On Friday, February 26th, we’re hosting a three-mile Fun Run along Pier 39 in beautiful SweatworkingSan Francisco.  Sweat out your conference jitters and connect with like-minded schools and candidates!  Even better: we’ll donate $50 on behalf of each runner to The BASIC (Bay Area Scholarships for Inner City Children) Fund.  Join us at 7am for a healthy, philanthropic start to your day!
